Before launching Thousand, I was a longtime cyclist who never wore a helmet. However, after losing a friend in a fatal bike crash, I knew I had to make a change. Rather than settling for the "sci-fi" looking helmets on the market, I set out to design one myself.

We named our company "Thousand" as a goal to help save 1000 lives by creating helmets that people actually want to wear. This name serves as a daily reminder of our purpose.

FIT NOTES: Every head is different, but with our helmets' integrated dial fit system, it's easy to make small adjustments for a comfortable fit. Just turn the dial clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. You can also remove some or all of the interior fit pads without affecting the safety of your lid to accomplish your preferred fit.
